Sunderland, West Ham and QPR chasing Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero By Omar Hamouda Posted on August 1, 2014 Sunderland, West Ham and Queens Park Rangers are all interested in snapping up Peruvian hit-man Paolo Guerrero, according to reports in Goal. The former Bayern Munich striker is currently plying his trade with Brazilian giants Corinthians, after leaving Germany in 2012 to return to South America. The 30-year-old had a nine-year spell in the Bundesliga, scoring 47 league goals with the Bayern and Hamburg. His form for Corinthians this season has alerted a number of clubs in England about his availability, with the forward scoring 20 goals in 53 games in all competitions since his move back to Brazil. Corinthians are currently second in Serie A and that is largely down to the strikers good form. A source close to the player told reporters: âPaolo is aware of interest from England and is keen to pursue it.â Guerrero joined Bayern Munich in 2003 from Allianza Lima, before going on to enjoy a productive spell in the Bundesliga. Sunderland, West Ham and QPR are all keen to bolster their front-line. QPR are already in the process of strengthening and are close to signing Kolbeinn Sigthorsson.
Now that would be amazing! He's a battler and got a great attitude but like many of our recent signings, past his best!
