According to reports, Sunderland, West Ham and QPR are all weighing up moves for Corinthians striker Paolo Guerrero.

The Peruvian signed for Bayern Munich from Alianza Lima in 2002, but played only two full seasons for the German giants in the Bundesliga before moving to Hamburger SV in 2006.

Now at Corinthians, the 30-year-old is keen to return for one more crack at European football, and has apparently welcomed any offers from the Premier League.

A source close to Goal claims; "Paolo is aware of interest from England and is keen to pursue it."

Both Sunderland and QPR are known to be in the market for a centre forward, and a deal for Guerrero could prove convenient for both clubs respectively.

Harry Redknapp is still unsure whether or not Loic Remy will be at Loftus Road next season, and is yet to tie up a deal for Kolbeinn Sigþórsson.

The Ajax forward was expected to join the R's over a week ago, but progress in the deal appears to have stalled.

I usually love the transfer speculation bit this time around it is getting right on my tats.

    Is it
    1) getting older
    2) getting bored of it
    3) sick of getting strung along by player and agent
    4) had enuf of reading lazy journalism
    5) rather worried about the abilities of our director of football to seal deals

    3) and 4) caused by a bit of 5).

The club should issue statements along the lines of....

As far as the player (...............) is concerned, the club has no interest in signing him. In that respect the journos and the players agent are talking absolute ****e.

    Something along those lines anyway.
