Really looking forward to this. I can't wait to see Sanchez turn out for the Arsenal

It will be a good test of our team over these two games and should get us up to speed for the start of the new season. Does anybody know how far Walcott is away from full fitness ? If our players can stay fit this season then I think we could really push on for a title challenge. Anyway, looking forward to a couple of really competitive games.

    Nice fred BTW <ok>

The last news on Walcott was that he'd be training at the end of the month.

Theo is in light training. Ramsey put some pics of Theo doing the warm up with the team.

Heard Ospina is already injured and so won't take part in the Emirates Cup. We could see Sanchez in action though.

Looking forward to this. Hope we have a near full squad out for Monaco as I'll be there for that. Good news about Walcott as he will be key for us challenging for the title.

Pretty good opposition to be up against.

Im a little concerned at the sheer number of our first team that won't get a real pre Season this year.

Hopefully Alexis will get some game time.

Yep - good news he will be in full training, I was worried that he would just be doing light training by the end of the month! :)

Having seen the line-up, I'm glad I didn't go today.

Really not convinced about this lineup.

    Can't see us not conceding.
Monreal looks quite lightweight at fullback. Playing him at Centreback is craziness.

You get a point for every goal you score in the Emirates Cup. Both teams got 2 goals (2 points) + the point for the draw.

    .

Yup! It's 1 point for a draw and 1 point for every goal scored.
