0-0 is not a bad result, to not get beat in our first away leg, which was never going to be easy, and from what I heard on RH commentary they didn't really trouble us at the back too much. As Mr Hat said the boys were rusty, and I think you will see them a bit sharper next week.

although a score draw would of been a lot better, I feel that 0-0 is a decent result all things considered. We only came back to pre-season training 2 weeks ago and played in some very low key fitness driven friendlies. As others have suggested, Trencin have been playing competitive football, mixed with the fact that they were playing what they would regard as a massive game for the players against EPL opposition, all culminating in them been much sharper and full of endeavour. I believe we will get the job done one way or another at home in front of what is hopefully a full house at the KC.

I can't believe some of you are complaining we didn't win. Incase you don't remember, we barely won away in the league last season. We're much much stronger at home and we all need to get behind them and cheer them through it.

We're a couple of weeks into preseason, we're undercooked for sure but the team we olayed kast night have had the benefit of a months worth of competative football in their legs. The boys will onky get better with match fitness, and given this game came so early I'm pleasantly surprised they didn't get turned over. If the hudd's radar would have been turned on we'd have won it.. some people need to take a chill pill and put their panicking on the back burner ... we'll be reet come the real tests

Well posted. Only been home for less than an hour and so much moaning and groaning from the neg heads.
FFS, we drew the game when all said and done. Beer and food very cheap. Beer far too cheap but welcome.
Coming back to Hull with a 1-0 lead may have been dangerous for us.

But now,,, The 2nd leg is a simple one. Win it.

When the airlines found out we were going to Slovakia, they trebled the flight prices.

When the bars in Zilina found out we were coming, they also took advantage.

A Slovakian in the main square after the game said we'd been ripped off, normally it was 80c a pint and we'd been charged €1. <laugh>
