I didn't recognise any of the welcoming party. Looking forward to see the team in action. Somebody said elsewhere that Remy is arriving here on Sunday.
Could be some negative press coming the teams way over there, our Joey has just called God a C**T. Not the best thing to say in such devout country.
Not too sure that still applies L.R. The vast majority of younger people in this country have no interest in religion. Older people still have some but a lot of them were put off by the various scandals. Ireland has moved on considerably since the 50's.
They needed a pool session to recover from the journey.......it's less than a bloody hour by plane from Heathrow and half hour or so on a coach to Carton House...... Still good that they are here, looking forward to tomorrow in Tallaght.....
To put those comments in context...... https://twitter.com/Joey7Barton Just don't tell me what to do. And stop killing people who have a different belief system is all I'm saying. Looks like we are going to need wet weather gear tomorrow, forecast is for heavy rain up the east coast tomorrow......typical isn't it, we have weeks of dry weather to the point where everything is partched, then the one day we get a day out for footie it rains........ Still I'm sure we'll enjoy it.....
Great videos. I was looking to see if SWP gradually disappeared as he moved towards the deep end .... but they don't have a deep end.
I just did a little research into Luas and it looks like a really neat transit system. Luas tram at Sandyford terminus near to Galloping Green, Leopardstown, Sandyford and Stillorgan, Dublin, Ireland please log in to view this image Luas tram at Sandyford terminus Luas is Dublin's tram. There are two lines: the Red line runs from Connolly Station to Tallaght and the Green line from St Stephen's Green to Sandyford. Luas is Irish for speed, but I wonder if it is also an acronym of Light Urban ----- System, on the analogy of Dart - Dublin Area Rapid Transport? Maybe someone knows. http://www.geograph.ie/photo/209515 Now which stop would Swords get on at if he was going to join you for the match at Tallaght? please log in to view this image
It's a cracking tram system Kilburn, resonably inexpensive, punctual....Dublin City Council is in the process of joining up the 2 lines so it is fully intergrated.......then they just need to extend it to the Airport........
http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/010814-joey-barton-ireland-tour-free-kicks-1798720.aspx? It doesn't show the other 637 attempts that ended up in the Liffey (or something).
2 Jan 2013 Little known fact: whenever Shaun Wright-Phillips scores the game winner, a Leprechaun gets his wings. #CFCvQPR https://twitter.com/hashtag/cfcvqpr Friday, September 2, 2011 SHAUN WRIGHT-PHILLIPS: LAST OF A KIND "For a lad so diminutive, even the tenuous but slightly overworked link to ex-Arsenal legend Ian Wright would not have been of any great assistance, if this tiny man could not persuade Those That Know that being as tall as a leprechaun is not necessarily a deterrent to playing top flight football. There were certainly many who doubted in those early days. Kenny Dalglish and Alex Ferguson are living proof that the football gene pool does not always leap successfully from one generation to the next." http://downthekippaxsteps.blogspot.ca/2011/09/shaun-wright-philips-last-of-kind.html
