Well, having watched him last night and on the stream against Bournemouth - here's my analysis...


Pros

+ Extremely strong
+ Dominant in the air
+ Great link-up play
+ Can spot a pass, very aware
+ Team player


Cons

- Snatches at his chances a bit too much (maybe too eager to impress, but it's early days)
- Has a tendency to get frustrated if things aren't coming off for him


Oh and also, I'd like to say - he's more mobile than Lambert. But I wouldn't describe him as quick.

 

Is he just stuck up top, or does he come deep for the ball and pick it up in midfield like Lambert?

 

He drops deep. If anything, sometimes yesterday he was too deep.

Blackmore (I think it was) summed it up well. Phenomenal strength, build-up play and awareness - but needs to be more destructive in the penalty area.

On the highlights, he scuff a shot or two. His build up play seems good and Tadic can get some balls onto his head.
