    Good Morning Everyone,

Tom Lees is gone. He was not in Cellino's plans!!! The fee was undisclosed but believed to be a nominal figure.

I will buy a pint to anyone who can say :-

'Lees Leaves Leeds' very quickly 10 times.

Funny how it takes Wednesday two days to negotiate and capture one of our players, yet it takes us months.

Not really a secret, but the captains armband will be decided today. It is widely believed that it will go to Pearce.

Benedicic will be a player by next week. He will sign on a season long loan. What has not been agreed yet is the fee to be paid if we take up the clause to purchase him!

We have footage (below) of McDaid in action!!! He wearing the number 17 shirt (Cellino take note). He and two others are sent off during the brawl. McDaid is the player closest to the goal. Watch the Mexican kick one of the Irish lads in the head, then quickly retreat.... Appauling.

Morning all. Dundee will be interesting. On one level given that we're a team in transition, we should get a draw at best. However, something I heard on the radio the other day uggested Dundee might be in a worse position than us apparently having to sell a lot of their players. Either way, I think our team are slowly but surely geling together, & as such I'll take us to win 2-1.

On McDaid, can't see the video on the Office computer, but I'd love to see McDaid playing some part in the game tomorrow if poss.

    Morning guys,
Too much of a tongue twister that Elland mate, think you've saved your money.
Hoping for another win tomorrow but think it will be out toughest test yet. Thought we might have had Vivani by now so he could play a part. Morrison to score again.

Morning elland and the White Wonders ... sad about Lees going, real worry because Hock is clearly an insecure individual and we have lost a young talent who will still develop into a quality defender ... remember, Leeds stood by this lad when he bust his knee as a 16 year old, he was then given two seasons on loan to regain his strength and prove his fitness ... Leeds did this because the coaching staff saw a diamond they believed in for the future ... Lees was very good for us until Colin came along, signed dross in midfield and set a mentality where protecting the back four was not an option ... we shall see

As for Dundee United, they will have a go and be a nice test, but I am still concerned because we have yet to sign wingers and a striker, and now need three centre backs as well ... however, we are still signing midfielders so we will be well covered in this area, and if need be can start a match with eleven of them, but they're not all named Brown unfortunately

    Morning BillysStatue,

If we clear our a half decent defender, we must have higher expectations. He had not improved over the last few seasons, and was even played in different positions across the back line to see if we could uncover a rough diamond

Morning, Cellino is back in town so that will see some new signings coming in I hope, agree we need a couple of CB`s but as I have been saying for the past few months you can forget about signing out & out wingers as that`s not how Cellino like his teams to play. 4-3-3 with strikers who can play out wide in the 3 up front, like we have been doing with Morison & Doukara in different games.

Good morning Matt and co from yet another dull day at Cote de Bardsey
Its alright saying he wont get wingers but what happens if plan A doesn't work we are up the creek
I still think MC is playing mind games with Chesterfield and an agreement will be reached over the boy Liam Cooper
Vivani whats happened to him and Agard where are we this

    Morning all
totally disagree about Hockaday, no way is he insecure. He has confidence in his coaching ability and the squad appear to be taking notice of him. He may not be a smarmy twat like McDermott but no one can deny he is trying to get the team to play the right way. There has hardly been any hoofball while he has been here.

He comes across well in his interviews and talks sense most of the time. I think both he and Tom Lees spoke honestly about his move to Sheff Weds. I like quite a few others are gradually warming to him but there will always be haters as there is with Cellino. As for Tom Lees leaving, don't care as long as we get a better replacement. To many mistakes from him and i doubt he will improve.
I still have concerns with the squad and agree we need some wingers to give us something different, with two more midfielders coming in we are gonna have to lose one or two from our present squad.

Don't think Lees was the problem in the past, it was a combination of the way the team was playing under Colin and a lack of cover for the back 4 under Brian. If his partner at CB at Wednesday is any good and if they get some cover in front of them, I think Lees will do a good job. Wish the lad well.
