Dave - why did the Mexican push his wife off the cliff... Aled - oh you can't say that one... Chris - Why? Aled - (in a serious voice) because she dies
Not really listened to Radio One since as I'm not keen on any of the others. I either listen to TalkSport or a CD
Radio 4 man myself, if I want music I have a phone or I'll listen to it in the house. Radio 4 in the car best radio channel out there.
I prefer listening to music on the way to work. Listen to a more local station now that have a bit of chatting but also play some decent music. Bit of a mixture of some new stuff (but not completely random that no one apart from 13 yr olds have heard of, and some old stuff from 2000's or 90's which is my era
Nah f**k that. Anything from the classics. Led Zeppelin, zz top, Eagles, black Sabbath etc to guns n Roses, dire straights, Alice in chains, nirvana, bob marley, korn, smashing pumpkins, Metallica, foo fighters, Queens of the stone age etc to name a few. As long as it has a guitar riff you can actually hear, basically proper music that's not been manufactured **** like these days. Partial to some 80s too.
Very much so to both. Had Surfa Rosa on in the car the other day. Hadn't listened to it in years. Doolittle is probably my favourite.
I can never decide between that or Trompe Le Monde. For Queen its either A Night at the Opera or The Works.
Listened to Temple Le Monde a few years back. I borrowed it off my mate, back when you had to borrow cds if you wanted to try out new music. Will add it to my Spotify to listen to.
Alec Eiffel and Letter to Memphis are my fave tracks from that album. I quite like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs aswell. Karen O has a certain, hypnotic, eccentric, bat **** crazy charm.
Does Bob Marley count as classic rock? For places where you've got Internet, you could try Arrow Classic Rock (there's an app on iTunes, don't know about Android). It's a Dutch radio station that plays stuff that you would probably like. My mate used to lsiten to it in his van at work in Essex when they were still broadcasting on longwave. My two-year-old son also likes it.
