I think the statistics show that Hull City miss a larger proportion of penalties than other Premier League clubs
They'll miss even more if Little Brucey starts taking them! Thud did a boo boo, s**t happens. It's a bloke kicking a lil ball at another bloke in front of a net - I'd suggest that if we let you pick the penalty takers the stats will tell us that never miss any rebounds!
There is not one player on the planet that could score 100% from the spot. Better players then ours have missed penalties. It happened....games over ... Now lets cheer the Tigers to victory next Thursday
I was saying it was a bad decision before he took the penalty - especially with Long, Meyler and Livermore on the pitch. You do remember he famously took a long time to score a goal. spurs fans said he was rubbish at taking penalties.
let me answer those 3 points you have highlighted.. 1 MikeMadrid was saying that if we cant beat Trencin, then we dont deserve to be in Europa League. 2 I was moaning about the usual suspects that normally phone the phone ins 3 if you cant see that there is an away goals rule, you are as stupid as PLT is immature. yeah BRAINS aree real far off if you cant grasp those 3 things.
I didn't say Bruce should take the penalties! I had Long, Meyler and Livermore in front of him. You don't seem able to remember what I said.
Oh yeah? Interesting definition of "favourites". http://www.oddschecker.com/football/europa-league/hull-v-trencin/winner
You say it in every post Yes. I can't for the life of me understand why you'd think that's unusual. He's a holding midfielder, of course he took a while to score. Same as our other excellent holding midfielder, Ashbee, used to. He's also the best player we've got at dead balls. He's universally rated as an excellent striker of the ball. What's not to like? Do you really think anyone is unsure about the rules? I can't tell if you really think this stuff or just mash the keyboard and see what happens.
But you've got 6 outfield players, all probably better technically, behind him. The 3 before him are a good shout, Meyler especially.
I'd still rather have somebody with Ricky Lambert's confidence than a nervous player Long, Meyler and Livermore are much more confident in front of goal than Huddlestone
are you a wum? I tried to tell BBC that they dont have to win to go through.. a 1 - 1 draw would be enough. Your loyalty to your brain cell is admirable, but you dont seen to have enough to constitute matter of any colour, do I suggest you run along sonny. I think I can hear your mum calling for bathtime.
Lambert has excellent technique, it's the same whether it's a penalty or a shot from distance. I also don't think Huddlestone lacks composure.
PLT? I think you should stop butting in on other peoples "discussions" unless you have followed them from the start cos it is rather annoying.
