Sorry if my post came across as hostile, it wasn't meant to be, I was just pointing out that you either hadn't read or didn't understand the article before you got excited and posted it. I can see why the first line would have got your juices flowing as tabloid journalism always starts with a sensationalist opening sentence to entice the gossip hungry masses.

My thoughts exactly. It's a share prospectus. It's supposed to state the most bloody obvious things imaginable. If you read the actual prospectus, it gives other majestic insights like "We are dependent upon the performance and popularity of our first team" and "Serious injuries to or losses of playing staff may affect our performance". Well durrrr... As for the fan numbers, I would have thought any Liverpool fan would recognise how much an impact being out of the CL for a few seasons would have on global fan numbers, given most surveys now put them behind Chelsea and Arsenal in terms of global supporters. No one in Asia, North America, Africa or elsewhere gives a flying f** about 'five times' if they can't watch the club on a regular basis. I don't think a share prospectus really adds any pressure to LVG which wasn't there already - top four would be the minimum expectation placed on him regardless of the wording of sponsorship agreements.
The RS will soon find out as they drop out of CL again next season. The difference for the money men between 4th and 5th is much more than between 1st and 4th. Thats the only thing they care about.
That "five times" is getting rather boring now. I did see the video for sale in a charity shop, but I threw my betamax player out years ago
