Bruce has been one of our best players in the last two competitive matches played and he seems sensible which is half the battle taking penalties - no stupid telegraphed taps too near to the goalkeeper.
Being able to take a penalty is probably more than half the battle, no debate regarding his confidence as part of the defence and his form on the pitch, again as part of the defence....but asking the lad to knock in a penalty, something he's not regularly asked to do, away from home in the one of the biggest games he'll have ever played in might be a bit too much?
Steve Bruce had a word with him last season, Thud accepted the responsibility. I'd have chosen him too.
Also he was in front of daddy which might have been the bridge to far in regards to pressure? Plus players miss penalties.....
wow .. what pedestal are you guys on .. enjoy the ****ing ride ... be it long or short ... that's cup runs
The match threads for games when we don't win are usually quite funny , no sense of perspective some people
someone inform BCC that if they score an away goal at the KC, even if we draw 1 - 1, were out. I know he's a bit speshul, poor dear.
Sounded like a typical early season game. Should progress, but City will keep the **** flying on here all season if you take things for granted. You've been warned..
We'll scrape through at home, no worries. It's been said so many times it's now an official cliche, but i'll say it anyway.... We are Hull city, we never do things the easy way
