This is getting out of f*cking order!

    According to the Metro:-

"Aaron Lennon has joined the long list of players Liverpool are hoping to sign, with the Reds rumoured to be planning a £20m bid for the Spurs winger."

At this rate, we're going to have no midfield left!

When are these stupid lazy journo hacks going to realise that we are NOT a selling club?

It'll take more than little Azza to breathe life into the big red dinosaur.

We'll give you a mars bar and a half eaten Tuna sandwich for him. Although he'll have to take a cut in wages and find a way to live on £3 a week.

Not going any higher than that, he's not worth it.

So that will mean he's paid more than your present squad then?

Yeah, because you pay Carroll and Henderson what they're worth, don't you? <doh>

You even gave us £20mill for Keane!

Yea Rafa was obviously tricked into thinking Keane was an actual footballer and not a donkey in disguise.

Yea, we had a bit of a blowout and spent some money on a couple of geordies. No money left for a pint sized winger who can't cross a ball, oh well.

    Rafa ruined Keane.
He's a shadow of the player that went to Liverpool.

Any supporter of a team that pays Glen Johnson £120k pw and buys Jordan Henderson for £16m+ really shouldn't be criticising the ability of someone like Lennon.

Is he better than your surrent wingers? Yes, you don't have any. Does Dalglish want to sign wingers this summer? Yes.

You could do a lot worse than Lennon. Not that he's for sale, or interested in going, or you have enough money...

Why does the amount my club pays for players affect my ability to talk about the ability of Lennon? Think before you type.

We're after wingers yes - but not "Lennon type" wingers, he's never impressed me.

You've got Commoli in charge of transfers, with his record you'll be lucky if you ever sign a player for the position you need.

I don't know why you're against signing a player that would improve your team anyway, to be honest.

Any one of our top 22 players would walk right into the 'Pool first XI. But, apart from Reina and Suarez, none of the 'Pool first XI would walk into ours.

That tells us all we need to know, I believe.

I didn't suggest that it did.
Comparatively however, you have nothing to criticise.

I'd take Carroll and Gerrard for the bench too but that's about it.

Also, I don't see how Liverpool are going to play wingers anyway. Their squad is full of central midfielders so they need to be playing as they are at the moment to make use of them.

I don't think that you can use an orthodox right-winger if you're going to play Johnson at right-back, anyway.
He impedes that sort of player by either crowding them or taking up similar attacking positions, so you're better of with someone that cut inside more.

Personally, I'd either stick with Kuyt, move Johnson to right-wing and pick one of their young right-backs to support him or stick Gerrard out there.
I don't think that he's got the legs to play box-to-box in central midfield any more and it remains to be seen if he can form a truly effective partnership with Suarez.

Because you know nothing about football, just like Damien Comolli when he's got hold of an open chequebook...
