Rumour in the office and on Brighton's board is that they're weighing up an offer for Paul?

    Thoughts if true?

I'd personally only let him go if we get someone else in.

I'm not sure Rutland, we need all the Premiership experience to have any chance of survival <whistle>

Just signed a new deal so can't see him going.

Regardless, we would need a replacement first as otherwise all we have is Schlupp and academy players.

Can't see it unless, as you say rutland, Pearson as a left back lined up.

I agree a move is unlikely unless we signed someone before hand. I thought it was a strange rumour given the new contract. Just wanted to see what people thought :)

Barwell - he took a wage reduction last year and so could now be affordable for BHA.

Looking on North Stand Chat (606 equivalent) it seems Brighton fans don't really want him.

    Probably just lazy journalism.

They've just trousered £8 million so Konch's wages shouldn't be a problem I'd have thought?

They will still very likely have a wage cap in place.

His contract was set to expire this summer until Nigel gave him a new deal so i cant see the logic in giving him a new deal to try and sell him

I wouldn't be bothered either way, but can't see Brighton paying him top dollar, prob better off financially here.
