You forgot Besic. But we will be adding further bodies. I doubt there's much left in the kitty for any more big name purchases, but there'll be a couple of astute loans and another couple of perms before the end of August imo mate.
The new contract for Barkley is the biggest and best piece of your business this season. Tremendous news for you, that.
Bad news for us though... because now we'll have to pay £25mill for him next summer instead of £10mill!
More like £40m. Bold question. After missing out on Remy would any one take Torres cheap? Instead of Bony or Lacazette.
Rather Bony than Torres. Quite simply, Bony would get more goals. Don't know anything about the French bloke so can't comment.
All the press say are he has a lot of pace and scored 23 goals last season. Newcastle want him but thats more to do with him being French than a quality player. Its the Newcastle way.
No. He can't come home to die, he can stay out in the wilderness and end his career at somewhere like real betis
No no no. We have our cheap striker option in Lambert. Remy would have been cheap but if that clause wasn't there he'd be worth double that. We need to progress and move forward, signing Torres would be the complete opposite of that and luckily I couldn't see BR entertaining such an idea. EDIT - And he's ****!!!
Once he puts in his transfer request... which he would... he could force through the move for £25m! If we hadn't already signed Lambert... maybe! We've already got an experienced bench warmer. I think Torres may be sold for a good value- and maybe could be rehabilitated some... but we don't really need him now... not after Lambert... we need someone who can challenge Studge... and I don't think Torres can do that. Ooops... I'm late... what he said... minus the "****" part... I think he is at Chelsea... but think he could improve again a little.
Oh... and I also echo the Bony comments... I don't see why a lot of people earlier were bashing him. BUT... only for the right price. We still need a fullback and we've spent a lot already this summer... surely the funds are running lower... and then there is FFP.
I think we're still in the black for this window aren't we? No to Torres- he's a mid-table player now, imo. I wouldn't mind a Bony.
Well 19 million for a striker who scored 20+ goals last season or £7 million for someone who scored 1? Rather pay the £19 million . In fact that's better value than Lukaku's return for £28 million. Not saying I want Bony but he's better value than Aspas.
Have we sold anyone yet (for money)? Other than Suarez of course? We've spent over £100m- according to the ever reliable newspapers!
Had a very decent WC,one of the youngsters that really impressed. Was there interest before the WC Tobes?
