Interesting article in SAFC.com about the players brought in by Roy Keane in the summer of 2007/08.

These were the additions to the squad.

Greg Halford (£2.5m), Russell Anderson (£1m), Michael Chopra (£5m), Kieran Richardson (undisc.), Dickson Etuhu (£1.5m), Paul McShane (£2.5m), Craig Gordon (£9m), Roy O'Donovan (undisc.), Andrew Cole (free), Danny Higginbotham (£3m), Ian Harte (free), Kenwyne Jones (£6m).

Only a few seasons ago but only 2 of them are still at the club. How things can change! What I notice from this list is how many didn't exactly distinguish themselves while here.

    £30m!

Well, Chopra kept us up, Dickson was underrated (I think). I also liked Danny Higg and Kenwyne when he could be bothered.

Halford and McShane are two of the worst players I have seen in a red and white shirt.
