Howya Este..we won't know if we've decent players in until so many matches into the new season. IMO Cellino is doing a good job off the pitch, I don't like his son putting his tuppence in and I'm a little worried about the players coming in, but that's because I don't have a clue about them. Time will only tell Este...<ok>

As you say time will tell,
Don't know much about his kids, seems one was involved in a strange gay stalking case!!!
Also cellino has a golf course in sardinia, named after the father, ercole, not the son I presume,
I'm sure mighty will lookinto it for us.
    <cheers>

People seem to be being harsh on Lees, before last season he's probably been our best and most consistent defender for a couple years. I agree to move forward he's not first choice but he's still incredibly young for a CB when you think about it. I really do think and have thought for a while he's gonna move on, get some proper guidance (because Leeds really isn't a place to get that if your a defender) and become a solid CB perhaps playing in the prem.

If its a decent fee then fine but if he goes on a free that'll piss me off.

Confirmed by Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray last night that Tom Lees is moving there on a free transfer. #lufc
Tweet from Phil Hay this morning. Think it's probably a good move for Lees as it seems Colin destroyed him here, but he should have commanded a fee. Guess his wages etc meant it was better business to let him leave on a free rather than keep him. Good luck to him, shame it didn't work out.

He's had as many chances as white, and doesn't seem to see his failings which are clear to everyone else.Time for him and club to move on.

Not sure he was our best and most consistent defender josh. Complete liability for me... terrible lapses in concentration, in the one outfield position you can't afford to do it. I do most of my football watching on tv, so other's who watch regularly may have a different view, but I'm not sure I've ever seen him play where he hasn't had at least one howler... Including before the warnock leesgate incident.

I wish the guy well but I'm glad his future isn't at leeds and whilst a fee would have been nice I'm not sure he's worth one.

NONE of our CBs looked good since Colin came in .. the reason our defence has looked poor is because they were badly exposed by the midfield who allowed players to run at them from deep and this caused untold problems with men free in space ... EXAMPLE when Forest beat us at home last season Brown allowed his man to simply stroll past him into space smack bang in front of the CBs creating the extra player and a goal resulted far too easily ...

sorry, I don't believe Lees is rubbish, he was exposed in a rubbish team, and his long balls were due to being under pressure with no midfielder to pass to ... fcuk man, good teams defend from the front but we simply didn't bother and that killed us ... as McD said, he'd never seen the like before where players simply switch off completely for periods of the game and we get hammered ...

I fear Lees will be yet another quality player we let go because of crap leadership and lack of football knowledge ... how many said Kasper was crap, and he only looked bad because his team was poor, yet now he is easily one of the best keepers in the country and would fetch £5m in a heartbeat ... only fcuking Leeds would let a good prospect go to the fcuking cnut Wendies for free

    Not too happy then billy!!

Agree about defending as a team, agree that our midfield makes our defence look bad, just as I used to think that for example becchio giving the ball away all the time countered some of the goals he scored for us by keeping the team under pressure.

Don't agree on lees though. He was part of the problem not just the result of it in my view. Alan Hansen for one got over a series of howlers when he was young to become a real player, maybe lees will do the same but I have my doubts.

... And I always quite rated kasper!!

Maybe no one was willing to pay anything for Lees. You can put whatever valuation you like on a player but he's only worth what a prospective club will pay surely

Lees gone for around £75k ... to pay off remainder of his contract at Leeds as he didn't ask for a transfer ... awesome bit of business, let's discuss the lad in three years time when he's playing for Newcastle in the Prem after being signed for £4m
