With two such good meetings on it is almost criminal to take your attention to Nottingham but MOSCATO @ 7-2 Nott 5:45 really shouldn't be missed tomorrow. His handler needs no introduction as a shrewd placer and improver of horses when they go handicapping. This fella has run in a handicap already but without success, the difference tomorrow is a big step up in trip. That is particularly pertinent as this one half brother, ALL MY HEART, was a winner of two miles and his other siblings were all successful at a mile and a half. MOSCATO doesn't have gears but I am certain that tomorrow we will see that he stays all day. Its not a great price but that's the Prescott factor for you. I am confident that he will go off considerably shorter!

I'm sorry if this comes across the wrong way but I am scrolling straight down this opening message every day. Its information overload and I am looking for tips rather than a shortcut to the rule 4 deductions website etc. I respect Attivo who is admirably spending lots of time and effort on this but surely only a few sentences is all thats needed. Apologies as there are far more respected people on here than me but how many are actually reading this opening thread?

Really like the look of 2.05 Goodwood Madeed 7/1 with PP doing Money Back for 2nd or 3rd. Will do a write up later but price won't last.

Don't make it personal fusion, I didn't ask for it! Good stats though :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

Money back for QUICK JACK tomorrow as he was declared for the Hurdle.

2.35 Goodwood

Hannon has the rightful odds on shot IVAWOOD heading the market at 1/2 but although smart, I don't think the July stakes was upto much.

However, it is always worth noting when Brian Meehan has a debut winner and this one-FOX TROTTER- beat Burnt Sugar- an odds on Hannon sort- easily ar Doncaster, in taking style. His horses that win on debut are often above average as they improve from first run almost all cases. Hia recent classyfirst time winners are JWONDER and back in 2011SHUMOOS won on debut and was 2nd in the Queen Mary next start.

14/1 each way and hopefully a run for our money.

Meehan does well with his juveniles at Goodwood Toppy!

ZEBS LAD could be interesting to small stakes 11-1 Ffos Las 6:15, ran with the choke out last time and failed to stay 6f, dropped back to five tomorrow and yard have won this race twice in three years. Bet365 is much much bigger than anyone else! Small stakes only!

Fancy Brown Panther strongly tomorrow, likely to be my only bet of the day so will go all out for it. Just think having won the race last year and already some good showings this season it's worth siding with again. This C&D should suit Brown Panther a lot better than the Ascot Gold Cup race when Estimate finished ahead of him. Couldn't have Estimate at current odds and Cavalryman seems to save a lot of it's good days for Meydan. Everything just points towards Brown Panther for me.

5.35 Galway- Pirate Cove - 9/4

Have got her in my tracker as still off a very decent mark and has been 2nd the last two times. Weld has saddled two of the last three winners of this contest. The form of her latest runner-up finish at Leopardstown is rock-solid (winner struck three times since and third, eighth and ninth also won too!) and an 8lb rise may not be enough to anchor her with further improvement on the cards.

I expect that the focus of attention will be Gold Cup runner-up Estimate, who must be long odds on for a post-race drug test no matter where she finishes. The off-the-course goings on have given me no more betting interest in the race than I would have had, so this might be one just to watch but Cavalryman and King Kieran are decent odds.

In the Lillie Langtry, can Gold Cup third Missunited gain compensation at the expense of disappointments Talent and Waila? If Jim Crowley judges the fractions right, probably...

The day’s banker in the Richmond Stakes, Ivawood looks perfectly capable of giving three pounds to July Stakes runner-up Jungle Cat in a race where most of the remainder have potential rather than form.

There is an old adage about topweights in three year old handicaps and Roseburg in the opener has terrific credentials but the huge negatives are that his one race on fast ground saw him finish stone last and his three wins have been against four, four and six opponents.

I may have just come up with good reasons to save my money for next month unless I decide to give good Sandown winner Royal Seal another go in the 4:50 and ignore her no-show on soft ground last time.

You not worried about his run on bottomless ground a couple of weeks ago would have taken a lot put of him in going for Estimate the story has been written for her tomorrow

Agree with Toppy about Fox Trotter. Any Meehan winning debutant (especially in that fashion) is generally quite a bit above average. Ivawood will be a tough nut crack but worth opposing each way at 14s

so they moan about random people starting threads with no information regarding where the days racing is coming from and when someone takes the time every single day to start a thread with all that information and more they moan about there being too much information
frankly I don't care whats at the start of the daily thread, I know where todays racing is but poor Attivo was asked by the mods to do this on a daily basis. I agree you don't need to see what I have tipped today but I guess Attivo thinks a few people want to know.

You lot really are a fickle bunch of twats!

"to be honest, I think that she will win" - Ryan Moore on the chances of Estimate. That, from the world's best jockey, will do for me.
