I can only assume that means we're looking elsewhere now? Not a single mention of Bertrand and Liverpool in the last week or so. Made up tbh...think he's ok, but nothing special.
An awful shopped attempt. Clearly a Suarez shirt with the name painted over (in the wrong colour) and then Reus added.
He's not all that bad... But.. now is the time to make that final push with regards to signings, 3 more signings (LB, Winger/AM and Striker) and it'll be a damn decent transfer window, esp. if we can move on the fringe players too.. Cloud Cookoo land, would love to see Moreno, Reus as two of those signings.. but we'll see what happens..
Latest I heard is that we've had a word and said you're surplus to requirements so he's accepted it and is now talking to Sunderland. Can't find anything confirmed anywhere though so it's still only a maybe. Rodgers obviously told him that there's a Bella Pasta up in Sunderland as well as a Pizza Express.
Don't forget that Everton beat Liverpool 3-0 at Goodison in 2006. Must have been special as they rushed out a DVD that Christmas.
Sunderland Echo: Gus Poyet watched his words carefully when asked about Borini here in Portugal last night. “He is being assessed now for his shoulder injury. That’s stopped everything a little bit. “We will see. I have not held talks with him, but the club has, although that’s private. “We know where we stand.” Not exactly concrete but I think that's where the new Borini-moving talk has come from.
I just cant see Borini staying. I think he was delaying thigns a bit in the hope that maybe someone ele might come in for him but I think he knows the best thing for his personal development is to go to Sunderland and play regular football. Then in a year or two, maybe someone back in Italy or another CL club will come back in for him
