Eire, what are you on about? They said a couple of weeks ago that Lorimer was retiring from playing professional footy. How up to date do you want them to be?

To be fair it's bound to be old news on there seeing as we haven't signed anyone, loan or otherwise, for about two weeks.
Lots of talk etc but no official signings

This Lees business is very worrying if true, especially now that Cooper deal is dead (why they put that on official site is beyond me though!).

I'm concerned that we are letting a decent player go FOR FREE reportedly. I also fear that Hockaday hasn't given him a chance. Will we regret this once Hockaday and Leeds part company? Surely another Clayton, kasper situation right before our eyes. Lees has been with us for 15 years and Hock 5 mins!

    And seriously... no transfer fee!?!?

Not sure why anyone's worried about Lees moving on. A very very limited player in my opinion and not a chance in hell of getting money for him

I think it's the fact we're left we only 2 CBs a week before the start of the season and it looks like there are none coming in now the Cooper bid/deal is dead in the water

A player is only worth what a club is willing to pay, shows you how much Lees is rated if he has gone on a free.

Thing with lees is whether he is a decent footballer or not is open to some debate, but ultimately he has catastrophic concentration lapses, in every game and he plays in the one outfield position where that often leads to a goal. A liability to me, and I can only imagine that the his teammates feel the same.

He could do a Hansen and mature out of the lapses, but you wouldn't bet on it.

I'm fine mate just pointing out that we are mainly linked to the free ones and I believe we have only spent out on a keeper so far <ok>

Silvestri Berardi & Bianchi signed for undisclosed fees I do believe while the French striker is on loan with a view to a permanent transfer (if he is any good)
