How the **** does that contradict exactly? It's not full. But it is more than half full. Full = 100% Half full = 50% More than half full = 51%+
Day 6, 31 golds up for grabs. The Aussies are still slightly ahead and topping the table but we have great chances for golds in the gymnastics with the mens team event who are showing that they are world class. Greg Rutherford is jumping today and Alex Smith from Hull has a shot at a gold medal in the hammer throwing. The main draw should be David Rudisha in the 800m, will he break the elusive 100 second barrier? Finally didn't Adam Gemili do well last night in the 100m. What a star he is.
We are back at the top of the medal table after Max Whitlock gets gold for mens gymnastics. How long can we stay at the top? TWT.
If we can't beat the subjects of our former empire then we shouldn't really be a country. People complain about the prison system today because it's too lenient, I think it was far more lenient in the days of the Empire. We sent convicts to a sunny island and then taught them to be better than us at sports. How is that f**ing punishment?
Have you noticed the (white) Aussies live around the coast? I think the interior scares them. (Are they waiting for the rescue ship.....?)
Max Whitlock was awesome, what a great gymnast and young Nile Wilson is a great young talent, and is the next star in waiting. Nicola Adams she can box, what a wonderful exhibition of boxing she has just given.
I have been impressed with our Commonwealth efforts. We have pushed on since 2012 in a few areas. Pavey is indeed a bit if an inspiration.
is there more medals to be won at the Commonwealth? england have around 157 Australia 126 ish then canada and scotland with 60/70 each in the olympics no countries get anywhere near that? then again I suppose there's more or an even disribution of medals with the likes of usa, russia germany & china involved, never realized that many medals were available
If the Commonwealth Games proves anything, it's that England > every other Commonwealth country > Scotland
Just a pity we won't be seeing Hull girl Annabelle Lewis in the 4 x 100m. She has been injured and is only just getting back on the track.
So glad the Kenyan fella won the javelin. He learnt to throw on youtube. Amazing. Also the Welsh pole vaulter is in the lead. She has a very impressive six pack.
