Ah, the old "down to the bare bones" gambit.

    Classic Redknapp.

Another point that some people have missed....

.... We'd rather play a centre half up front than Tom Hitchcock, who we've shipped off.

I've never known a club to get rid of players when we don't have replacements like we do.

We sold Helguson when we really needed him. We cry out for strikers and don't use our youth players. We get rid of midfielders when we don't have any one else to play in that position.

Why not get the player you want in first and then sell the one you don't want, before you find yourself with no players?!

Why would we play an MK Dons player up front, or anywhere for that matter?

I'm sick and tired of this crap of proving a point that we need a Striker.

We're not playing a CB upfront Harry, you've got an academy haven't you? And they have striker's don't they?

Play one of them and give them some exposure to the first team set up

You missed my point. We shipped him out when we had just been through a season with not enough strikers. Don't get rid until you've got a replacement. Revisit my last post as I've added more.

What if Remy suddenly finds a way to leave and then Deeney has been taken already?

I recon Iceman 2 is about on par with Deeney in terms of the likelyhood of them having success at QPR next season.

This is classic Redknapp. All these words are aimed at making TF splash the cash. But I do agree with Redknapp to some extent. We need to get deals moving as its getting closer and closer to the start of the Prem. Ideally you want your team sorted by then. I dont want us to be in the position we found ourelves in after the opening day against Bolton a few years back......

You mean that situation where we were doing quite well with a team that had spirit? I remember us getting up to 9th place.

I know what you're saying, though. Tango & Cash wouldn't front any money whilst trying to sell.

All I can say to you is this: surely we will get the right number of players in for the right positions. Even if we don't get the best of the best, surely we have no excuses for being short come Hull at home.

The Premier League wish to thank QPR for their cooperation last season and especially Luke Young on whom the spray was extensively tested.
