As any of you who use twitter will know, the hashtag used by all City fans on twitter - #hcafc (yes I know #UTT was used before not to anwhere near the same extent) has been banned by Allam for official use for many months now due to it's obvious reference to Hull City AFC. I found it interesting to notice that the club is using the hashtag #CityinEurope for the European game which obviously conflicts with the censorship of City. I wonder how much the Allams monitor the social media output and how often the media people have to go and ask permission or advice about things? I imagine the situation makes their job very difficult.
Every time Curtis Davies name is on the end of a statement, it's Curtis Davies HCAFC. I'm surprised our captain hasn't been pulled up for that.
The players are still using #hcafc, as are Burnsy and Phil Buckingham, the #UTT thing is stupid, anyone searching for Hull City on Twitter will use #hcafc, they'll never guess at #UTT ffs.
#UTT is also used by Huddersfield Town which makes matters even more confusing. I've often wondered how much Assem and Ehab monitor these things, if they're insisting on 'hullcitytigers.com' then it's not inconceivable to think they're insisting on #UTT too.
They are certainly insisting on #UTT, there is no way the media people would limit our brand exposure and receive flak from fans without being told to do so. I wonder if the players have been asked to stop using #hcafc? If I was them I'd probably tell the club to piss off and that I wasn't going to damage my relationship with fans to suit their campaign
The couple examples im talking about weren't tweets, so there was no need for hash tag. I don't do twatter.
Perhaps you'd like to let us know who you think came up with the idea of switching from #hcafc to using a Huddersfield Town hashtag? I assume you don't believe they took Hull City AFC off the badge either? Or the season passes?
Does it matter? Ahead of such a big game tomorrow the major talking point is twitter hashtags? Really?
I hate ****s like you with a passion. What did you hope to achieve from this? For us all to stop posting on this particular thread? For us all to stop talking about anything else other than tomorrow's game? There's a thread about tomorrow's game, this clearly isn't it. So if you opened this thread expecting Trencin discussion I can only assume you're a bit of a thick ****. Anyway here's a thread about tomorrow as you seem to be struggling: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php?t=271194
This #UTT garbage is simply a pathetic brainwashing exercise, they'll be spelling the ****ing thing out across the seats next. I've had to block the official City account due to them forcing this tripe down everyones throat. I wonder if assad and his sickening son are aware that 12bet are currently using #HCAFC ?
People have said 'up the tigers' for decades, its hardly an Allam invention. If your biggest worry in life is someone using a different hash tag on twitter then I'd say you have it pretty good!
I've never in my life heard anyone utter the words 'up the tigers' it doesn't even make sense. The relentless use of #UTT & the disgraceful texteless logo are just a clear signs that they have no intention of letting this name change garbage go. But we already knew that anyway didnt we..
Again, since when has this forum been used for people's biggest worries? It's a Hull City forum about Hull City. Daft ****.
