My only concern is he is a bit 'lightweight' and may find the PL a bit too robust as Granero did, but if he can put up with that would be a real class act...
He might not work out, you never know till they sign, but at such a small fee compared to some of the transfer fees, it's really a no brainer. I just can't see how we'd get in before the big clubs, I can see it dragging on like most of our signings until he's sure no better offer is coming his way.
He is no lightweight lads He is in the form if his life as has been overlooked a lot in the past but DD saw something in him and feet on ground he did replace Ribery Certain Harold looks upon him as a Modric type of player was he lightweight ? If it came off then credit to QPR as he has the minerals no doubts here
If the French had of turned up in the WC then very sure they would if beaten them Watched in my local village bar and most thought He was Frances best player
I thought Blaise Matuidi had a good World Cup also The lad at Southampton is also brilliant Don't be surprised to see Pogba in the premier league also French papers over the last few weeks all reporting possible moves
Is it though Lone? We must remember that we're a small Club and should try our best to run ourselves as such, which, in the main, should be as a selling Club as much as possible. I know that'll take a few years to implement coming from where we've come from (IE the total opposite) but 7 million quid for a 29 year old, no matter how accomplished, does make me wince a bit. Then again, as you say regarding the way transfer fees are these days, maybe we just gotta suck it up and continue with the rest of them in forking out the moolah in the crazy World of modern football.
This is definitely one that I'll only believe when it's official. Surely he should be playing CL football, really good player at the World Cup. Also, £7m? When you consider some of the recent transfer fees we've seen that just seems odd. Although I've no idea what his contract situation is like at the moment.
What I mean is, if he doesn't work out this season we flog him back to a french club, minimal loss, but at least we tried. But if you don't try we'll never know? But at today's prices, anything under 10 million for a full and current international (not the England team) then you have to snap that up.
Valbuena allegedly to sign a 4 year contract for Dinamo Moscow for a meagre 192K per week (albeit USD). The club is owned by the government via VTB Bank, now subject to sanctions.....
He goes to Russia for more money. Not bothered in the slightest. We have enough mercenaries. Au revoir.
