Morning QPR fans, I was going through groupon this morning, and they are selling discounted football tickets. Thought I would pass on the link, if you are interested. Good luck this season!!! http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/london-special/gl-qpr-fc-9/42774336
Cheers EB. Most helpful. (Thinks - Blimey, a Leeds supporter being nice to us? Whatever next? Millwall fans offering baby-sitting services?) Seriously, we'll need a bit of luck this season, and your good wishes are reciprocated.
From the Offish: Adult Season Ticket Holder - £10.00 (prior to matchday) Please note that adult Season Ticket Holders get a £5 discount. To access this special price, please login to your account before choosing your seats. Adult Non Season Ticket Holder - £15.00 Senior Over 60, Young Adult 16-21 - £10.00 Junior U16 - £5.00 Uâ8s â Free Of Charge (accompanied by an Adult and prior to matchday) ________________________________________________ From GroupOn: £5 for one junior ticket £15 for one adult ticket Limit 1 per person. May buy 9 additional as gifts. So there is absolutely NO benefit to buying from Groupon. In fact people could be worse off if they think that it is a good offer and buy the £5 tickets for under 8s or buy full price tickets for Seniors and 16 to 21s.
The same happens on all these sort of 'discount' sites it seems. I was buying tickets to see Miss Saigon, for me and Mrs Staines' wedding anniversary, and they worked out the same price getting them direct from the box office as they did with the 'special discount' price on Amazon Local. Bit of a con, IMO.
