Doubt it but maybe there should be a clause in all contracts that fitness should be kept to a certain level or it's breach of contract. With dispensation for injuries of course.
Do your job Redknapp. Make him feel wanted and he'll want to get fit and play. Ask Warnock. 'We need a number 10' You've got one, FFS.
Exactly. Or he could ask Seedorf. It was only what 2 months ago he was fit and playing well for Milan. I expect Arry is exaggerating about how unfit he is, so he can justify moving him out in a bit. Adel must have been on a real binge if he's that bad, and it's been Ramadan, so unlikely. Arry should earn his money, motivate Adel, get him to train hard with a ball for a couple of weeks and play him (and Remy) in some warm up games, he (and Remy) could be ready for Hull. But I doubt Arry can be bothered.
I like how you lot turn it around to seem as if it's Harry's fault and not Adel. I was a very big fan of Adel and I defended him in our last premier league outings (and still do because I think he was one of our better players then) but you have to look at the bigger picture and look at the impact he makes on the whole squad. The rest of the players don't want him there because they feel he takes the mick. And he does take the mick. He thinks he owns the place and can do what he wants. He can **** right off if he's got that attitude, I don't care how skilful he is. He will end up being a hindrance unless he sorts his completely diabolical attitude out. Answer me one thing... name a player who's played for us and has had a worse attitude in terms of training and being disciplined.
Anybody seen HRs comments after Orient game last night?!!!! Claiming we have no strikers and BZ not fit (again) and we will have to play a centre half upfront tonight V Southend?!!! He talks like it is nothing to do with him and he is immune to whats happening with the squad!.................he doesnt not change and DO something Harry but I can see the same old waiting for deadline day and then buying 4/5 players of which 3/4 will be a gamble. Lets change the record Harry or play Adel up on his own tonight, he'll have to do some running then.........
Harry's going to highlight, possibly exaggerate, our deficiencies because it will help him convince the owners to go the extra mile for one player or another before the transfer window closes. It wouldn't help him at this stage if we were winning friendlies by a wide margin. If anyone wonders why SWP is featuring in every game, I'd say that's the reason
Looking at the big picture. If Adel carried on as he has ( totally unfit ) with everyday employer like you or l, he would of have already had two warning letters and sacked on the third occasion. When in the last couple of years has he shown any loyalty to his club or respect to his fellow players ..... Can you just one time? No, l can't either. So here we fans are again ...... Prepared to give him yet another chance and what does he do? Turns up for the pre season over weight and same stinking attitude. Why do we continue to bother? We know he can play when all the marbles click into place but with the way he continues to act tells me those better days are few and far between. You only have to look at where he was. One or two good games and then back to being his regular self. He's lost me.
He talks as if .... It the reality of where QPR current financial situation finds themselves. Due to financial overspend and £170mil+ in debt; and TF and our Board trying to bring in players at a decent price, that Harry has highlighted he needs. Its not all Harry's fault, its not all Hughes fault, its not all the Board's fault......It is where are are, as a culmination of all the above (mainly), and trying desperately hard to move forward as a club !!
Whilst I am frustrated with his lack of effort in getting fit, we really need him tbh. Having gone all the way up to Leyton Orient yesterday we clearly lack spark and a creative influence in the side - STILL! Im pleased that Harry has said he would be willing to give Adel this role. Have to say, reading Harry's comments re no strikers I am getting more and more frustrated. We had this problem all last season and it still has not been sorted, just weeks from the new season. We really need 5 or 6 players, not 3 or 4.
This. Harry can't be blamed if Adel just doesn't want to be here anymore. But then I don't suppose the anti-Harry brigade will accept that.
Remember Awjm, ‘There are none so blind as those who will not see. The most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know’. (Jonathan Swift 1734).
Harry can pick and choose all the targets he wants, names we would love to see play for us, but if Tony wont pay the price or they don't want to come there's nothing he can do, Adel cant be bothered, Remy thinks he's to good for us, loads of our targets just use us to screw a better deal from other clubs, when one fails we just move onto the next one and hopefully come 16/08/2014 we have a team to move us forward, if not then we will struggle.
I tend to agree with you here, we had a problem lack of strikers and still have. The olive branch seems to be more like a bunch of straw Harry is try to grasp.
What a disrespectful way to work with your employers. He can make these points to them face to face, why does he have to do it through the press? Rhetorical question - media coverage is his oxygen. Not worth taking anything he says too seriously, last week Granero was a top lad and definitely staying according to Redknapp.
Disrespectful? I'd say it's human nature. How many managers about to be David in a fight against a band of Goliaths wouldn't play weaker sides in friendlies which, surprise, surprise, highlight deficiencies to management. Harry is a bit of a media pimp, I concede. So is Ian Holloway, but he gets good press on our boards
