I am ambivalent about this one. On the one hand, Schneiderlin is the one player I really didn't want to leave. With him, we still have a superb midfield and there is a solid platform on which to build a team. On the other hand his tweet was in some ways quite shocking, at least to me. I really didn't think he was the sort to behave like that. In the past, these sort of discussions took place in private but now it seems that if you don't get your way, you just go public and make outrageous comments that fans can't forgive and, hey presto, you are sold. Obviously, with all his mates gone from 'rags' to riches he thought it would be a formality for him to follow. Well, he should have come back from holiday sooner! I really don't know what the best outcome is. Rodriguez I would sell. No one knows how he will play after his injury. Everyone in the game seems to rate him far higher than I do and I think that £20m would have been good business. Still, I suppose if we are making our big stand, he will have to stay too. I can't see him playing much after we buy our all new strike force!!
Reports seem to suggest Tottenham never met our valuations anyway. 15mil for Morgan and 7 for Jay is not enough.
No-one offered £20m and I can't believe people in the game view players differently to you #rodriguezformidfieldinsteadofcork
I know, its incredible. Funnily enough I am proved to be right more often than I am wrong. I told you we'd be s**t without Chaplow
I think someone should be telling SSN that Spider has not as yet put in a transfer request, I suppose it sounds good to them to keep saying it, as bad news is good news to them even if it isn't actually true?
Morgan is out for dinner tonight with Jos Hooiveld and Steven Davis. Dušan Tadić and Billy Sharp also present.
...and they're done. Smiles all round and Dušan chatting to Morgan along the way. Eye-witness account.
10 o Clock and they said it again. Also mentioned the Osvaldo swap move, twitter say the other guy doesn't want to move.
