Fair enough. I agree that those positions are the ones we should be looking at if we're going to buy some more players.
Players are leaving Saints because the owners have no desire to succeed in football, only in money terms. If I'm playing for Liverpool and we sell Suarez, Sturridge, Henderson, Flanagan and Sakho then I would realise that this club do not want to win, if your the type of player who wants to actually win things instead of just earning top dollar then you would feel the same. Wanting the players to get injured or be rubbish when they leave is awful.
Ronaldinho is a free agent. We should seriously consider signing him for one season. Great learning lesson for our attackers like Sterling and Coutinho and I feel he would relish one more chance at the top.
No... I think they posted that one in good humor actually. They're looking at it from a humorous perspective. No different than our "Agent Rafa" comments in previous seasons.
Used to love Ronaldinho and would have loved him to be at Liverpool but once he made it he was more interested in partying. Way past it nowadays so I'd have to say no. FFS...
That's a fairly common accusation levelled at Brazilian footballers. Listening to Tim Vickery during the WC, said that cause they come from such poor backgrounds they have a huge drive to make it early on and secure big money moves (mostly out of Brazil) that when they get to the late twenties they lose that drive and fall away with the lifestyle, the fact they've made it and the security of the money. Its why not many Brazilian players maintain the worldclass status into their 30's.
Just look at Luiz as a recent example; gets a big move to Chelsea and forgets how to defend, gets another big move to PSG and forgets how to play completely
I would like to get Flanno in there but equally want a Z too Although, any of the obscure letters will do really
