Great support for all the home nations from the crowds at the Commonwealth games - very sporting!

Yes, was afraid it would be partisan, but good support for all home nations. I suppose a lot of fans are well informed and familiar with home nation sportsmen and women from following GB.

What are the Home nations using as national anthems..? I remember the Manchester Games several years back, where the Scottish were understandably using Flower of Scotland, but the English were using Land of Hope & Glory instead of the dirge GSTQ. Never have I heard a Gold medal anthem sung with so much passion.

I've completely lost the energy to talk about Southampton any more. Anyone got anything interesting and/or not interesting but less tedious than the same Southampton debates to argue about?

Someone needs to start a petition to get Jerusalem (or Land of Hope and Glory) as the anthem to be played before England football games. As much as I support the monarchy, God Save the Queen is one of the worst national anthems I've ever heard, though if they insist on singing it, they should include the second verse.
