Seems about right i'd say. Promoted clubs are always the favourites and then the club with an inexperienced manager and then the previously promoted clubs. I'm surprised Villa's as low down as they are.

Can't see why Sunderland are ahead of us... Borini doesn't fancy going back so at the minute there looking as Danny Graham as their goalscoring hope.

If these odds worked out, it suggests we would finish 14th. I would settle for that, although the optimist in me hopes for better.

I'm a bit disappointed that so many punters agree with me that Villa could well hit trouble. No great value in those prices.

not goal scoring hope,,,,,, shots on goal hope as Sunderland will be praying for rebounds to midfielders this season.

Soton too - whoever comes in in the end I presume a real lack of understanding there

Unless the Southampton owners are going to take the money and run, they will have the best part of £100M to replace about half a dozen players.

    B365 odds

    Burnley 4/7
    QPR 15/8
    Leicester 9/4
    WBA 11/4
    Palace 11/4
    Villa 3/1
    CITY 7/2
    Soton 7/2
    Sunlan 9/2
    Swansea 9/2

I know it’s relative but I think it’s f**ing great that we’re rated less of a chance to go down than someone like Villa - a true measure of our progress.

LCFC are 4/1 to be the top midlands club with Stoke 11/8 favourites. Surely LCFC fans will be lumping on what with them having mid table safety (at least) already in the bag?

Club: Ok, so you're interested in X player - ok - deal for £5m. Who am I talking to?
    Other Club: We're Southampton
    Club: Price is now £10m

    I rest my case

That sounds great but it doesn't work that way in reality.
    As an example.
Liverpool are interested in a player and put in a bid at Southampton which they turn down. Player gets a little ****ty over it and Southampton finally agree for a fair price.
    All ok so far.
Southampton try and get a like for like replacement and scour the would looking for him. Find him and then put a bid in for a fair price only for the other club to say 'Hang on didn't you get a **** load of cash?' followed swiftly by 'Sorry the price has doubled'. After that then we get to the player who pipes up with 'Who the hell are Southampton?' followed quickly by 'Hang on haven't you got a **** load of cash? No thanks unless you give me DOUBLE what I am on now'.

With replacing any player it's difficult. Southampton will do a minor miracle replacing a team of stars that served them well

Swansea are probably best value there. I think they'll go down.

And I know Michu only played fleetingly last season but now he's gone they'll miss him big time.
