How is this for a conspiracy theory I just now concocted? We promised MS he could go to a CL team - but used Chambers as a bribe to leave it for Arsenal. Tottenham aren't CL so we are not obliged...
Kreuger said they were all looking for moves at the end of last season...this is a conspiracy I can believe in. Not interested in Saints or the fans, but using their success here for a big pay day. You could expect 1 or 2, but the number was what was intolerable.
Could the hard stance on these two also be because of the way Pochettino went about tapping them up? May be irrelevant, however I know what I'd want to do...
I think an IQ of 57 is a bit of an over estimate. I've told you a ten million times not to exaggerate?
Saints are obviously aggrieved about Mauricio, so why would he be allowed to get any of our players. If I was a billionnairess, I would happily pay Morgan and Jay's wages and never play them just out of spite. Being seriously rich allows you to exact revenge.
Just don't believe a word of Ralphy's spin -waffle -trust us - pr lovespeak, however I genuinely think we should sell Morgan, his stock is high, he wants out, and he's obviously going to be a disruptive influence on the team, the ship has surely sailed with him already I'm afraid. To be honest, the entire team is going to have to be rebuilt from top to bottom, there's already been so much disruption and with so many new players having to gel into a new team, if we're going to have to replace Spider as well, then just get it done quick and move on with the rebuild. Right now, the only solution is to " go big, or go home " Gonna be a rocky season ahead.......
It's certainly not a coincidence that we're standing in the way of the two players that Mauricio wants.
I feel more important than any fee we'll receive for Morgan now is the potential to make an example and stop similar future behaviour.
As I said...masterstroke. The board's standing has shot up...Morgan now the bad guy. I don't think they will back down, but if they do Morgan will have to something horrendous and damage his rep forever, leaving the board's halo intact. Look at what we had to deal with!
Do that then. Tell Morgan to shut the **** up and he may get a move in the summer. If he doesn't **** up his career and let him rot.
What makes this worse is the reaction of Spurs fans. They all think it's their god given right to take Schneiderlin and Jrod because it's their "big move"....they're in the ****ing Europa league with no hope in hell of Champions League. Why would you start crying over being told no to that?
That's what I think will happen except either way he'll get the move in the summer. If he's gonna go on strike though he can stay in the reserves until then. Fine by me.
