That's one impressive beard... even if it looks out of place on his face. Must have taken years to grow!

Statistically you look at 1 in 6 and think "ugh".

However, consider this... he has 59 professional appearances at age 19... that's pretty impressive. Most of them are probably as a sub for 10 mins at the end of a game mind... so I'd be more interested to see what his goals per 90mins looks like.

For Belgium U19 (for whom he presumably started) in the previous few years- he had a 10 goals in 19 appearances... which is better than a goal every other game.

No leaning, but I like that.

He's obviously said to the cameraman that he isn't going to lean as he isn't in the traditional spot. He knows the traditions of LFC and that the leans need to be next to the player entrance, boot room and LFC badge. This guy has gone high in my expectation by not giving in to pressure and demanding the leaning photos are done properly <ok>

    Not bad for a 19 year-old.

In comparison: In 2004 (he turned 19 the follwoing October) Rooney had 15 goals in 67 league appearances (17 in 77 all comps) and was bought for over 25 million, the highest fee ever for an under 20-year old at the time.

You'd rather he just leaned on that **** balcony? The guy wants to do things properly. Got to respect him for that.

  14. No, I'd rather he got off his fat lazy arse and showed some commitment to the cause by flying over to Melwood to perform the expected lean #****ingbatard

Not gonna lie. Watching Belgium at the world cup I never heard of him. Wondered why Lukaku wasn't playing instead of this bag of ****. Hope he shows me wrong.

He showed glimpses in the WC.

Has bags of pace and his accuracy rate of hitting the target and converting chances is half decent as well for a 19 year old.

Far from finished article but obviously has potential, hopefully Lille continue to play him this year to help him develop so he can make a real impact next year.

This signing is so far from exciting. Belgium was piss poor at the worlds and his record is piss poor as well. Not liking how this window is shaping up for us now. There's bare time to go but it seems we aint shiftin the dead weight and we is buying average players.

I didn't watch every Belgium game but from what I saw, I thought he did alright - lots of pace, hit the target a lot and some good movement. As IBWT said, not the fnished article, but defo has potential.

But maybe he was awful in the games I didn't see.
