Firstly, that's entirely anecdotal, your personal experience counts for nothing, I saw more Hull KR shirts in Italy this summer than I did Hull City, does that mean Rovers have better international marketing? No of course it doesn't its pure coincidence. Secondly your confusing the profile of the sport with the individual teams ability to market itself, Hull City are better known than RL clubs because the play in the richest, most watched league in the world, that has absolutely nothing to do with our clubs marketing. You only have to read on here how consistently disappointed people are with the clubs retail stores to know something isn't right. Hull FC on the other hand are opening new stores, releasing and selling out 3 or 4 replica kits and two sets of training gear a season and constantly providing offers/discounts to their fans. If your entirely happy with the clubs retail stores and marketing then that's fine but most fans are not and we only have to look at our neighbours for some ways to improve this.
link? All I've seen in The No Hope Shopping Centre on Bransholme is chav after chav in Liverpool shirts. If fc do sell more merchandise from their shops then City do then I would suggest its something to do with the selection of replica shirts they have. I've never seen so many different shirts from one club. They must have a different one for every game.
http://www.rlfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=572574 Can't say I'm familiar with the area but those on rflfans that actually live there seem to think that's the case.
Rather amazingly, the home kit is more expensive than our shirts. Though the away one is much cheaper.
Hull FC have three kits, home, away and training. The home kit is £47(or £57 if you want your name on the back) and the away kit was the same, but is currently on offer in the sale for £27.
Almost right. There have been 3 playing shirts this season, home, away and magic (the one with the drawing all over it) - all of them are £47, but the away shirt is on sale this week for £25. There's also Richard Whiting's Testimonial Shirt which was worn in his benefit match in pre season, which although it's sold in the club shop, the club doesn't profit from it. There have also been 3 training ranges this season, black, blue and 'carbon', which generally includes 2 training t shirts, 2 polos a vest and shorts in each range, so there's plenty of choice through the season.
£47? for something that hideous? it's like an even ****ter version of grimsby town with half of the kit taken up by sponsors and other ****e can mock people for wearing replica football shirts but replica super league shirts? it's embarrassing and chavvy bandit
Once we have secured our home city, we push outwards into the hinterlands and beyond. The current owners of the club are not clued up about what makes this city tick. We have generations of people who have always had the option of three clubs. Two offer cheap knockabout fun with hollow victories against pit villages, the other offers fewer and bigger victories against cities often bigger than us. Many lazy folk have traditionally preferred the easy cheap option A, especially in the late 70s/early 80s, and the warm glow of vicarious success. That gene is not easily removed from the Kingstonian DNA, it afflicts so many hereabouts that many do not even realise they carry the affliction. If allowed to flourish unchecked, it will take hold in another generation. These youngsters are our future lifeblood, don't let them be lured by egg-shaped sweets from a stranger.
I hear are Hull hoping to offer a special branded gastric band for their fans. Rovers allegedly lining one up too.
Start taking your kids / grandkids /nephews / nieces / to watch Hull City that way we can attract new support to the club It's cheap enough as well and if the Allams can't attract more supporters then maybe we can and help fill the stadium The junior tigers were junior Robins till 3 seasons ago now there HULL CITY mad and its rare they go to a rugby game now
