Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit and all that cal... Whose camera and where did OLM get hold of them was more what I was interested in.
We're leading the chase for whom? I'm guessing with Copenhagen interested, they're referring to Hangeland.
Interesting reading the comments on the HDM story to sign McGuire and Robertson Note the vote of confidence for the Hangeland signing.
It's the old Hull City fans selective memory issue that we saw coming out on the Jakupovic thread. Fulham got relegated last year, but Hangeland has been there since 2008 and helped keep them up, making over 200 appearances and playing in Europe, not to mention 91 caps for Norway. And so what if he's 33? Faye was older than that and he was great when he signed. He won't have the defence built around him and he'll have better players next to him than he did last season. He's not going to be first choice in the Premier League because I don't think he's as good as Chester or Davies. But if we want to keep those two fit then it's important to have decent cover and, in the next stage of Europe (assuming we get there), a back line of Robertson, Maguire, Hangeland, Rosenior wouldn't be that bad at all. I think his signing will almost certainly spell the end for either McShane or Bruce Jnr, but we'll see, Bruce might be happy with a large amount of cover in defence.
Transfer Writer ‏@FootieWriter Brede Hangeland is in talks with Hull City over a move on a free transfer.
It's never over until it's signed and sealed but this sounds promising... http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/...-high-hopes-for-andy-robertsons-replacement/?
That does sound promising. Hopefully we can get everything sorted out and get hime signed before the squad leave for Slovakia.
With these signings I reckon 3-5-2 most games: Prem: Elmo, chester, davis, hangleland, brady Cups: Rosie, mcguire, bruce, mcshane, robertson Figeroua adding further cover
