Operating with about half the fan base we have their retail sales put ours to shame.

And there's nothing embarrassing about having a poor season, were you embarrassed when Hull City we're in Division 3/4 for decades?

    NO.....not ever

I never deluded myself into thinking we was a huge club that should be in the top 4

Even now we know we are NOT a huge club.... ( yet )

Besides football has 92 clubs from huge city's and not just 14 from small towns and pit villages and a couple of city's

Think you've made my point for me there.

Like I said, there's nothing embarrassing about having a bad season, as you've just reiterated.

If you want to imply all Hull FC fans think their club should be in the top 4 and thus should all be ashamed of this season then your deluded (which I admit is a possibility).

We are going to win the Europa Cup and the league cup this season .

of course It's ok for me I support HULL CITY and WIGAN WARRIORS in Rugby League because they win things

Look out for my flag next time fc are at home to Wigan

Nothing shocks me with this news, to be honest.

Especially, after what happened last year.

They don't pull in 10,000+ every week. And, if we sell out when we play the big boys, then we do sell out some games so your statement we might actually sell out some games is rather silly.

There've been 3 crowds less than 10000 in Hull's last 105 home Super League games - that's more or less 10000 every week.

Hull have also sold 10000 shirts for the last 6 years I believe, and their retail side of things turns over £1million p/a, which is massive for Super League.

Its fine, doesn't bother me in the slightest, I support Hull City and Hull FC, who other people choose to support is absolutely no concern of mine. Although just so you know I wouldn't back Wigan this year, they probably won't win anything, your better off with Saints or Leeds.

Its a real shame because ultimately Hull City have the more marketable product but are just failing to capitalise on it.

Rightyo. Do you have confirmed figures of each clubs sales figures for say the last 12 months? Surely with these very strong assertions, you have some facts to hand you can share with us?

Living outside Hull, I can say with certainty that I hear Hull City mentioned a fair bit, and never ever hear about FC or KR. I also see more Hull City car stickers and shirts around here in Cambridgeshire/Bucks than any KR or FC stuff. In fact, I can state with certainty that I have never seen any of the egg chasers stuff round here. Is this proof that Hull City have better national marketing?

I'd butt out of this one if I was you Happy, you don't live here, if you did you'd know the rugby clubs put us to shame when it comes to marketing in the local area.

Not by a small margin either, I have absolutely no interest in rugby league, but I can't avoid knowing about what they're doing here. In stark contrast, the best way of finding out what's going on at City, is by reading my own ****ing posts.

It certainly isn't one of yours. Any 6 year olds about in your house who could explain it to you?

Yeah I know that from when I visit family. Although in fairness Id never listen to RH anyhow.

I also know and agree our marketing is ****e. It's always been like that as far back as I can remember. In light of PLTs comments though and knowing how the Allams approach marketing, I am genuinely hopeful we are turning a corner in this respect. It won't be quick, but it will work eventually.
