A share issue to raise £10M has failed to raise the money, and loans have to be repaid by the end of this month. All in all it sounds as if they are in a huge mess.

 

A Watford legend hits a spot of bother. I don't think that the club is a happy place.

Having seen on the "Some Fun for a Friday afternoon" thread Dan's post re the reaction by some Rangers fans to Celtic's reprieve, and comparing that with OFHs post above, I think those fans have got their priorities wrong.

The thing I find strangest about the Celtic reprieve is that Legia haven't been removed from European football completely, just taken Celtic's place in the Europa League play-offs.

 

Well I think Legia will appeal, and I think they are able to use Debrecen as a precedent who only got a fine when they did the same - the suspended player only came on in the 88th minute, so had no influence on the result. Maybe if the appeal is upheld, they just simply swap the teams

Either way, what a mistake to make. Surely someone was aware this player was suspended - even the player himself!

Has just sacked his legal team and replaced them with Celtic's after hearing they had lost both legs and still came out with a result

 

I wonder if it is more profitable to have Celtic in the champions league than Legia Warsaw... Obviously I'm not suggesting anything untoward, just interested!

 

Seems harsh to totally kick them out - should have played the game again or something.

Robins - to give up after one match is little short of ridiculous.

 

It seems to me that Robins is better at interviews for jobs than managing football clubs.
