http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-FC-open-new-club-shop-east-river-Bransholme/story-21965707-detail/story.html Despite global coverage now, we can't even seem to market the one at the ground.
The OP makes out that its city related. If i wanted to know about rugby i'd go on a rugby board not a football one. I wasted a precious minute of my life opening that link.
Boo ****ing hoo. Wasting minutes of your life? You're on a bloody football messageboard for Christ's sake.
Plus the KR fans, I bet they'll be really interested in this, especially given their location. Not sure what Dutch is saying here tbh, as its not OT and clearly aimed at our club. Maybe he's suggesting the club open a shop up in Grimsby, or Leeds?
What an interesting reaction. The point I thought was clear. A sport with much smaller (in numbers) consumer base and a lower budget is doing a much better job of marketing than Hull City does.
I'd love to see the annual merchandise sales figures for both clubs, I wouldn't be surprised that despite having half the number of pass holders Hull FC make more money from their stores.
If you can't see why comparing a RL crowd to a PL crowd is pointless then your an idiot. But for a RL club to pull in 10,000+ every week whilst 3rd bottom of the SL is very good. Follow their example and we might actually sell out some games and not just when we play the big boys.
Yes it is , most people can see that , maybe you don't live in Hull Happy Tiger and so don't see the difference
I don't and you're right, I don't. I can still wonder why they'd put a shop in that location, we'll see how much better they are at marketing than us when the shop is treated to a new paint scheme.
If fc had 10 shops in Hull they still wouldn't make as much money as we do from our 2 IMO The true embarrassing thing must be HUGE CLUB FC being 12th In a league of 14 teams and failing to get above Rovers .
Hull FC may not make as much money from club shops then City, but I bet they make a hell of a lot more pro-rota on the crowd then we do. It's pathetic the way the rugby clubs totally out do us with a much lower budget on the marketing and community side of things.
Many West Hull families were relocated to Bransholme, hence there's a large Hull FC following there, makes perfect sense to put a shop there.
