Sell. Get as much as we can for Wickham and Dozy , then put that money towards getting a striker in. One that scores goals preferably.

How much have you seen of Jozy on the training pitch though? There must be something there, If there isn't then surely we have to question Gus, Not trust him. Match confidence is a different world completely but he's obviously good enough or he would have been shipped out. Now Fletch is fit and Scocco is finding match fitness maybe Jozy will get some development games to try and regain some confidence on the pitch then reintroduce him to the bench. Or maybe Gus is holding out for the goal that kick starts his career here. But I don't see training and Gus rates him so I have to think the quality is there, even if I haven't seen it on the pitch. When I say a trust Gus, I actually do.

Harsh to highlight baz's comments here. There were far worse predictions/observations. And who knows, if the contract can't be agreed then he will probably be sold.

Don't be so f**ing soft, whatever's written on here stays on here ........ I'm not even criticising him ffs.

How come you always defend him anyway?

He claims his predictions are always correct and attacks anyone who points out that they're not.

It's just a bit of fun ffs, lighten up <doh>

But his predictions could yet be right. There's far worse said on this thread, which are 100% wrong yet you choose to pick out baz's. just seems weird to me.

I've picked out Baz because he's an ignorant twat who's quite happy to pick out other people when it suits him.

If you don't like it then tough ****, I don't really care what you think tbh.

Besides, as I've already said, the comments of everyone are there for people to make their own minds up about.

They don't need guidance from me or you or anyone else ...... they can choose can't they?

Ok well it might be a good idea to pick out something that is actually wrong, as the statement of his could yet be right. Not after an argument, just couldn't understand it.

Almost every one of his bombastic predictions, last season, was totally wrong.

I'm just mentioning something that may be wrong, but may not ........ it's not Crown Court on here, just a bit of fun.

He's been on here, this week, making more claims that I'll happily repost when they're wrong.

Anyway, how come you never question Baz when he's making this kind of post but jump on me within seconds?

There's so many opinions/quotes on here that are wrong, but that's what makes the site interesting. If everyone had the same "right" opinion it would be very boring to read.

I don't see the need to keep highlighting one mans wrong opinions as IMO it could discourage people to post, and I think we want as many posters on the board as possible.

Ok previous comments can be funny in hindsight, but to keep highlighting the same poster's wrong opinions isn't fair IMO.

So don't do it ...... problem solved, I'll do what the **** I like.

Whether you think it's fair or not is just your opinion which people can agree with or not.

You post what you want to post and I'll do the same <ok>

So Whickham has produced half a dozen decent games in three seasons and is now messing about over extending contract with us. I still have misgivings about his maturity and loyalty.

He's a good young English centre-forward who should be nurtured by our club and not knocked into touch. He's worth more than a dozen Altidores!!

He thinks he's someone he's not, Seems your not thick either to be seduced by half a dozen games. For me it's just a case of working out weather we'd get more for selling him now or waiting for the Tribunal compo.

No argument that the lad has talent that was going to waste until he was brought back. Maybe he is also believing the hype about his "saviour" role in our escape.

The ball is in his court unfortunately, a brilliant start to the season keeps him in the driving seat in January and attracts the bigger clubs or a better contract, or he has rubbish time and still comes back to us for a new contract. I hate Bosman.

Not really his fault though was it? He was cast aside by a number of managers who basically couldn't "manage" him. His first chance he took with both hands and showed what he is capable of. Bry I haven't been "seduced" by the half dozen games (I know you said that to nostalgic but just to put my case over) - I have always championed the lad and said what a good footballer I thought he would be if given a chance. He got one chance at Sunderland and he's proved that he is capable

The ball maybe in his court in regards to accepting a contract but I think it's the club which holds the power. We've got his compensation at the end of this season to come if he doesn't sign. He's running the risk of sitting on the bench for the season without games and being stuck with signing for Hull or someone on a peanut wage at the end of it.

I never said you were fella, I'm talking generally, so many opinions have changed from that little run, look at comment 34, there weren't any comments like that before that run. The view was quite sceptical, a nothing to lose by playing him because of Jozy's form. There were very few votes of confidence. I personally was in the view of playing Giacc and moving Borini to up front myself.
