The 2 I'd have taken from Fulham would have been Sidwell and Richardson. I don't think any others improve us all significantly.

Hangeland has a turning circle like an oil tanker. The only reason we'd sign him is to make Maguire feel quick.

See now that's who I thought it could be at first; but with Ince/Snodgrass/Brady/Aluko/Quinn/Boyd - do we need ANOTHER creative player?

We don't, but as was suggested it was someone on the other end of the pitch.

Egyptian reports bringing up Ramy Rabia again. If we failed to bring him for a trial last year though doubt we'd be successful this year.

Nah, he was quite **** in a pretty **** Fulham side, at least Snodgrass stood out for good reasons after suffering relegation.

I'm certain someone on here said he'd gone to Portugal.

We don't want to be making moves like Dejagah.

Robertson will only come here if it progresses his career. This from Sky.

Dundee United defender Andrew Robertson's representative says he will only sign for Hull City if the move progresses his career.

Robertson is in talks with Hull after the two clubs agreed a fee reported to be £3m for the 20-year-old Scotland international.

The 20-year-old full-back, who only became a professional last year after joining the Tannadice club from Queen's Park, has attracted interest from a number of other Premier League clubs with West Ham and West Brom reported to be keeping tabs on him.

The player's representative, PFA Scotland lawyer Liam O'Donnell, said: "Andy is in talks with Hull.

"Clearly, it's a massive decision for him and he will carefully consider all the aspects of this potential move.

"The most important of these is to try to continue the excellent progress he has made these past 18 months."

United boss Jackie McNamara admits he is hoping for a shock U-turn.

"The two clubs have agreed a fee so we’ll find out in the next couple of days whether it’s either a 'yes' or a 'no' and hopefully it’s a 'no'," he told the Daily Record.

"We’ll wait and see. It’s all down to Andrew and his family, the decision he makes. He’s got to speak about personal terms, his future.

"Selfishly, I hope he decides to stay another year but sometimes these things are out of your control."

Hmm... what will progress my career more - staying at Dundee Utd in the SPFL, or go to Hull in the Premier League and Europa League.

    Tough choice...

If he comes here and is good enough, then he won't have to worry about that.

No player can ever demand to be first choice if you ask me, you've gotta play well enough.

Clearly a bit of ego stroking right now wouldn't amiss, but once he's here it's up to him.

Townsend has left on a season long loan to Dundee United to act as a replacement for Robertson.

    One part of that article

"The player's representative, PFA Scotland lawyer Liam O'Donnell"

No agent...he's obviously not in it for the money. Or maybe he doesn't like agents.

To be fair he hasn't got any competition....Figgy is the only recognised left back/wingback we have and I can't see him playing much.
