From what ive read on Twitter, Maguire is a "done deal" his brothers have tweeted congratulations on his move... looks complete. wonder who the other CB we had talks with was?

What's up with him being released by Fulham? They didn't want him, or he's just ran his contract down? Looks to me like he had a couple of good seasons a few years back, not much since. But, you can see why they'd be interested. Free, experienced...perhaps grateful of the opportunity as, to me, he looked like he'd lost his way a bit there.

They want minimum £5m for Ruiz from Besiktas. He's primarily a right winger I believe, can play as as second striker. No chance we'd be competing at those kinds of figures for that type of player. We just don't need that. IMO!
