Now is when the value is as high as it's gonna get. That's why I predicted it to happen this season. Also whether or not we're in the ****ter depends on who buys us.
Who knows. She sells the club, they takeover and you've got a shed load to spend! From an outside point of view this whole saga is very strange and unprecedented. Little communication (all summer) from the club and selling the bulk of the top players and only bringing in a few untested ones. Replacing pretty much first 11 is a big ask. Bringing in just 2-3 can be difficult enough. It just doesn't stack up. Its either someone taking huge risks or something like asset stripping.
If the article to believed we will bring in players to survive this season then be sold as soon as. So she would have made a profit yet also made a decent team as well.
But it certainly doesn't look imminently imminent, and if she doesn't buy reinforcements in this transfer window and sells come September onwards then surely we're ****ed?
Kreuger very well understood how to work people who have plenty of money and ego. They love everything sweep, repeat, history to have control and be glorified if successful. This is perfect I couldn't imagine Kruger could sell an inflatable to someone lost at sea, but what do I know?
If she's not evil she'll leave the transfer budget where it is and Reed and co will spend it. As I said previously, it's not her money and transfer spending has nothing to do with her so long as she leaves it alone.
Someone suggested spending £50m on players, using the other £50m-£60m to clear the debts and cover the costs of Staplewood/St.Mary's upgrades. Then sell a debt free club, with improved facilities, a solid if unspectacular squad, and an experienced and high-profile name as manager. I suppose that theory works.
The value of the club at this precise moment is probably less than what her Dad paid for the club in the first place. Without the price assets sold off. If that is her plan then she has boobed in my opinion.........As at the moment there is little potential or at worst what potential it does have is unknown.......
Really, you think that a Premier League football club with a Category 1 academy (regarded as the best in England), 32,000 all-seater UEFA 4* stadium and top-class training facilities is worth less than the £12m-£14m that Markus Liebherr paid for Saints? Like... really?
i'm sorry but that's crazy talk The club will be in-line to earn £70m this season and even with relegation you get about 5 seasons of parachute payments. We have a fully paid for stadium and state of the art training ground. If she was willing to sell for £15m then I'd try and raise the sums myself
My understanding was that He paid around £40 mil for the club in total with all its debts...so yeah really!!
