Lets have a mass banning party. I will get the ball rolling by starting an argument with you Mr Lone.

You say "You're all a bunch of tossers! But so am I, let's all party." well I'm sorry Bro, I'm offended and take issue with that statement. I'm the only real tosser on this forum so all the others are not, OK!

Ultimate respect to the mods for everything they do - they've made an effort to lead in things like matchday threads while trying to keep the modding going (which looks fairly painless from the outside but is anything but to them).

Can't help that there's been scrutiny on the site from the media either, but whether forced or by their own judgement, they always act with the best of intentions and, in my view, do nothing but succeed.

I too am a fan of Flyer and enjoy his downbeat views that often carry a lot of clinical sense. He reminds me of a Simpsons quote as Homer meets the Smashing Pumpkins - "Thanks to you bleak music, my children no longer dream of a future that I can't afford to give them!"

If you're reading Flyer, sorry it wasn't a South Park quote but I couldn't think of a suitable one!

Love it! In one of Thomas Hardy's gloomy and fatalistic novels, Flyer would be cast as the gloomy and fatalistic one. A vital countermeasure to any surfeit of over-optimism on the board. Come back soon, Flyer...

    Flyer will be back

This boy needs credit to say how he sees it ... Way ahead in his opinion of the club we all ultimately love

He was right on a lot of issues and knows his onions about football

He cares and I for one respects him for showing us

I actually enjoyed his paranoid non football posts more. But respect to him for not announcing his departure and flouncing off.

Mods boxed into a corner with the others, but we have lost three of the non identikit voices for a bit. FFS lads, yet again you oafs have ruined my day. It'll be quiet around here.

Well nothing wrong talking about them
what do people think of them?

    I like them all

I think Swords is a very bloke and loves the discussion plus you have to say he doesn't react when called a name . Posters get offended by him but that's their fault

Queens is great and both him Col and swords yet to meet but I am guessing on a meal out everyone would get on fine

    Good people on here

Active banter and I enjoy reading it all when I am away

    Stir crazy times that's all

Might be helpful if the Mods gave a list of who and why. It's guesswork at the moment...

Sorry from here it looks a lot to me that trouble seems to swarm around swords. He seems to poke people till they react, he has tried it a couple times with me...and he takes other people with him each time.

The mods have been pushed into a corner...again...but handled it so well. Well done Roller and 999s

We will just have to play with Cerny until the banned come back.
Would love Flyer to come back....but doubt he will...

What was Flyer's problem Beth? I always thought his input was incisive even if I didn't agree with everything he said...

Well I'm quite partial to this, although English Stilton is a horrible price here in Canada.

Had a weekend away and come back to armagedon, i had a few run in's with Flyer and didnt always agree with his views but would hope he makes a reappearance in the near future,as for the others Col & Queens post quality views and as for Swords he is pushing his luck with the mods, but i hope they all reappear but with a little more restraint

Funnily enough I'm quite partial to Canadian Vintage Mature Cheddar, quite the best of any I've tried...

That fellow's on a permanent ban too; we'll never see him back here again.

Apart from a bit of unnecessary name calling, I actually like the cutting banter here.

I've said it before, but it's what I hear and see at the football; we follow the same team, but at the same time can be totally diverse in our opinions and how we articulate them!

It makes for a good forum, profanities and all! :)

In the famous words of my leader, George Castanza ..... To all those who think you are an idiot, please, you have put a fair and just challenge but you are up against the biggest idiot if them all, for I am Aussie, lord of the Idiots.

So please, do not mock me my friends.

Perhaps we could do a care package cheese swap? Could make for some stinky mail packages for those sniffer dogs!

Canadian Mature Cheddar (Balderston 2yr, 5yr and 10yr available @ Costco) is very good and much better priced than English Stilton which admittedly is more of a "specialist" cheese - I saw Stilton recently @ C$55/Kg, yet you could buy crumbles of the same cheese in a plastic container (for salads) @ 35/Kg, which I did to satisfy my craving - really nice with a good Port too. Costco used to bring in a really well priced large English Stilton round for Christmas, but unfortunately not last year.

With all this cheese talk I'm salivating!
