It was the only time I was genuinely concerned Newcastle would win summat .. I couldn't believe it when they hounded him out. I remember watching Look North, when they were 3rd or 4th, and they were interviewing supporters leaving the ground, "Too old ..... taken the club as far as he can ....... this club deserves better ....... need someone younger etc etc etc."
This book idea is worth a shot, I would love a copy. York seem to over estimate the size of their away end when we visit, I have yet to see the pitch never mind a game.

You have to say, every one of those fees is phenomenal business by Southampton. Only the Lambert fee is anywhere near real value, the rest they have ripped the Scousers eyes out. And Arsenals. And Uniteds...

Not possible. You can't buy a whole side as it doesn't work. You can make changes to an existing side but it's impossible to replace the amount if players they're talking about. It will all end in tears.
