I would take 50 million on players and 50 on infrastructure / ground improvements.

Very true, but I do wish Les Reed doesn't add things like that into his statements(just don't put a figure on it), it only gets fans into a frenzy when we clearly know has you said we don't/won't spend that sum. But maybe they will have to break their transfer record??

    Agreed.

The board are guilt of naïvety and that comment from Les shows it. He, and his fellow board members, clearly underestimated the effect of the first few leaving.

If they want out good riddance. Cashin and move on. The club can get stronger as a result. Let's get behind Ron.

Guan says we're going to have to pay over the odds to sign someone to convince our targets to come.

He also says the boardroom is likely to change.

    From Guan

No one has been able to stop the dominos thus far.

Think we are going to now have to pay well over the odds for someone (most likely Vlarr), just to show other targets we can bring people in.

One of four Dutch nationals that are priority targets.

Quite a bit of buck passing will come to head this week. Boardroom personnel may change, not as much as first team.

Morgan was a key member (view of entire club). So we have to do something drastic now.

That's as much detail I can go into from the bullet points I was sent. We lose either way with J-rod, MoPo likes Ings as well, and Liverpool fancy both.

Something drastic has got to change in the boardroom. It seems only Les Reed has any knowledge of football at all, and Ralph was a ****ing disaster from the first interview.

Not surprised everyone is so worried...but fear not.

Look at the possible (some probable signings):

Virgil Van Dijk for Lovren - Same quality with probably more potential. Rated as one of the best young Dutch players around. Just go on the Celtic fan forum and see what they think!
Marcos Rojo for Shaw - Argentine Intl, World Cup finalist, 24 yrs old and can play CB as well as LB so versatile.
Jordy Vlasie - A class act, Dutch Intl, he is a leader (captains Feynoord) who is mature beyond his 23yrs. Would be a great signing if we get him.
Fraser Forster - Personally I feel he is the best English keeper at the moment, yes better than Hart.
Nathan Redmond - Pace and raw young English talent. Only 20 yrs old and bags of potential
Leroy Fer - 'The Bouncer', still only 24ys old, give us a physical presence in midfield, also has the potential to get us some goals from midfield
Danny Ings - A Saints fan, loads of energy, could be a great pairing with Pelle who has strength and holds the ball up well. Ings brings pace and goals

There are others...and I know we need a few...but wouldn't it be great to have a few, or pref all, of the above at Southampton FC??

Of course, if we get to the end of the window and we haven't bought some of these, we have a problem. I don't think we will have one though.
