Apparently Lincoln are on the verge of going bust. If they can't sort themselves out they won't start the season And whatever we think about out board, at least they are not suing the supporters "Lincoln City Supporters Trust is the subject of a legal action from Gold Member Michael Foley, forced to issue a claim for breach of contract following the non-delivery of shares in Lincoln City Football Club." From savethemightyimps website which has not been updated for a while
With all these teams going bust and out the league what happens if it happens once the season has started? Do we get the three points or do we just get rid of a relegation spot?
Another sad day for lower league football and your right are board are ****ing asses but at least we're not in that state
But I think we have to make this season count, because it just gets worse when whatever parachute payment dries up.
We just need to start well. It doesn't matter what division we're in, if the Gas are winning and playing entertaining football, then Gasheads will come. I'm amazed we managed 6.5K last season from a team playing ****e who were relegated. If Clarke and his new look squad can start to win hearts and minds from the off, then the whole atmosphere around the club will change. If they don't, I shudder to think what will happen.
