What do you think? It's a hell of a gamble to try and completely replace a team over the summer, look at how qpr did when they tried it. If we're lucky and almost all of our signings come off (if/when we make more) we could be alright. If they don't and we loose both morgan and Jay I think we'll really really struggle, maybe just scrape up.
I'm fully expecting a barrage of hate for this but most realistic football fans will tell you it's a legitimate question. Also obviously we'll have a better idea once the window is closed but I thought it would be interesting to gauge opinions now.

Care to expand? This isn't just a negative thread, it gives those who are positive the chance to explain why things aren't so bad. Do you think we'll rely on some more youth prospects or do you back incoming signings to hit it off?

Bit of both. The youth gives us depth but we'll reinvest some of this money from sales into a decent squad.

Don't know the squad yet so hard to say for sure but I doubt we'll get relegated. Anyone know what odds you can get?

Fair, you'd think the youth team players are probably the most positive at the club at the moment they have the chance to make a name for themselves. Have you seen much of them? Is Reed first team standard do you think?

Not sure anyone can comfortably, unless they're expecting us to finish top half again. As far as I remember last year the bottom half were all involved in a scrap at some point.

I still think it's too early say and alot depends on our start if we start badly we could have a mountain to climb.

Yeah, I think we'll stay up. We're going to go backwards this season but we should then have a stable platform next season to advance again.

    We weren't 40/1 a fortnight a go, I had £50 on us about 3wks ago at 7s. Hopefully i've lost £50 <ok>

Yes we will stay up,firstly because there is three worse teams than us,secondly we haven't got replacements in,thirdly Koeman won't want a relegation on his cv,and hasn't come here for a scrap. Comfortably 10th,11th.

Well...devil's advocate here, but no manager wants relegation on their CV and yet 3/20 get it every season.

I do. You never see a bookie on a bike, as my old nan used to say.

We'd stay up even with those 5 gone and no more coming in. Because we have a quality manager. I would rather keep Koeman on his own than have those 5 back and a manager like like Alan Irvine or some of those other names topping those bookies lists back along.

Yes we will stay up. I will be pleasantly surprised if we finish 8th again, but I think top of the bottom half would be decent.
