Sorry commachio doesn't allow me to post regarding any experience about poland on here. I'd love to having watched the ekstraklasse and having been to a few games in gdansk, gdynia and at my local team orkan rumia but the Thai guy won't let me.. Psst.. You never heard it from me but polish football is ****, lower championship level at best. Warsaw last week were lucky to draw at home v st Patrick.

After the week I've just had I can't be doing with his ****. The teams have pace but lack any level of skill. They only play a few games before the mid season break so tend to keep up the fitness levels. Most half decent players go off to Germany or France. I thought they would have come on from euro 2012 but not really.
Honestly mate it's like a poor Scottish premiership. There tends to be a big following of idiots for each team, all teams idiots link up with another couple of clubs from around Poland and so match days tend not to be very family friendly. Tickets are muck cheap and you can drink in the stadium but I'd rather drive for a few hours and watch a German league game. Went to Hamburg about 4 times last season as a mate of mine was working over there and there is a good night bus connection. German league is the best for fans.
