why shouldnt it though? Why don't we go for him? £40-45m, thats bloody the same as an injured lallana and a young untested markovic. I don't think he would expect us to pay him monaco style wages and it would give the whole club a boost
This, plus I don't see us spending £45m on a 28 year old who has been out for 7 months with a knee injury. How long at the top does he really have left?
Agreed. With Bony I would expect that he would put the effort every time he's on the pitch. Balotelli probably wouldn't. Also not sure how confident I would be that Rodgers would sort Balotelli's head out. Rodriguez is injured, so definate no at the moment. If we are to move for him, at least wait until he's fit again.
jay rod is a huge no. if we reject remy we must reject him.. learn from carroll ffs.... bony is a total meh to me
I think Bony could do a job for us and would provide us with a Plan B / something different. 20 million would be expensive for him, but I'm not sure who else we should realistically look at. Sturridge / Lambert / Borini looks quite light, especially if we have to assume that Sturridge will miss several games through injury and can't be expected to lead the line on his own for a whole season. I'd prefer Bony to, say, Huntelaar.
plan b has a name... Lambert. borini is not staying end of so yes we need another forward. bonehead aint it. huntelaar... puke.. he's gone off like a 2 week old egg.
He might have a reputation for being lazy - but with the right manager that could easily change. Rodgers is an excellent man manager and I'm certain he'd make balotelli into a team player. Out of Bony, Rodriguez or Balotelli - for me there's no argument, Balotelli all day long. But like I said each to their own
No doubt that Balotelli is the more talented, but I doubt he'll ever properly fulfill it. I think Borini will stay. If he's not prepared to move when Sunderland offer 14 million and Liverpool were about to buy Remy, when will he move?
Don't want to be a conspiracy theorist, but what if Borini refused to go as he knew he had nobbled the medical results so that we would not sign Remy.
i think come the new sky season taking our lots pics for thier line ups all of out lot should insist on leaning and take this to a whole new level
After we've just spent £20m on Lovren we want another defender.... hmmm can't see much truth in that.
Daily Mail headline Raheem Sterling reveals big worries over new Liverpool signings Makes it seem like Sterling isn't too impressed by the signings.. in fact what it says is that he knows he has a fight on his hands to keep his place due to the quality being brought in http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/fo...veals-big-worries-over-new-Liverpool-signings
