I don't think that'd be the only motive to sign for a club like Arsenal...

But when we didn't get any communication from Cortese, that got criticised too.

Opened, closed. Promised, not promised. Fans moan. Fans criticise.

Perhaps not , but surely a significant one , esp if rumours are true that Callum's Dad is viewed by quite a few as a promising coach , but Les does not agree in a BIG way ......

I want him to take a few lessons in positivity. Tell us we WILL make BIG signings. Tell us we should get excited. He'd never get me into bed with that limp approach! :(

Really not that bothered or angry with Chambers. It was never going to be viable to keep two quality right backs happy. I always prefered Clyne anyway. Anyone witness Chambers last 20 min he played for us? He was terrible.

I already said they have been naive in not thinking the situation was this bad(players wanting to go etc). They choose to do the whole bunker down and not say a word, which sometimes works. The fans moaned at them for not saying a word and now moan when they put out a statement. No club will be 100% open with fans, specially with what has happened. You can't moan at them not saying anything and then we they say as much as they can say mian again.

Because he's getting paid more than double what he was on at Saints & he thinks he's got a fast-track into the Champions League.

Same reason you wouldn't see you future in your current job if another company offered you a massively better package.

Nah my bosses gf hates me you don't see me looking to leave. Now if I was offered bigger wages at a bigger company I would take it. Personal differences mean nothing as long as people are respectful to each other.

Tried being silent to. Nothing will work until we get players in, but people will still moan then probably.

I would say that it's the injuries that's more of a problem at Arsenal - young players of theirs often get injured and it surely affects their development. Walcott, Ox and Ramsey have all been out for long periods this year, and Wilshire's been injured too - and it happens every year. If Chambers gets injured in the next 12 months in training, Saints should be pointing out to any players of ours that think about going there that they should think twice.

Chambers had no right to demand a move. If the club had said no, he would have accepted it and got on with things. It's bullshit.
