Very much this. Sorry to have lost them (hopefully only temporarily), though I have complete faith in our mods who are nothing, if not broadminded, fair and tolerant.

Hope our lost posters are back for the new season, invigorated and in positive frames of mind.

 

OK, I have now read and digested the thread. I don't even need to read the house rules to even know they have been broken.

It got way too opinionated and more so "feisty" that action needed to be done. The thing we do not see or really appreciate is the time our mods spend sending PM's to posters with friendly and diplomatic advise to rain it in.

It's a shame and I do hope that's not the last we hear from these posters.

Sorry to hear of anybody getting banned. Roller and 999's were very tolerant to let the thread go as far as it did.

I am really sorry Flyer is no longer posting. He really is a good guy and a lot of what he says was very sensible if a little negative. I will miss him a lot but I hope I meet him for a pint before a match.

Regarding Col, he is another good lad and his presence here will be sorely missed. I hope his ban is temporary. If you read this, look forward to meeting you in the pub for a pint as well Col. Chin up mate.

Personally I liked Flyers contribution to this forum. I too thought he was on his Summer hols. Shame
