Or TF, Beard and Harry have a great setup of "good cop/bad cop" negotiating strategy. I've seen it done this way many times in business - and it works well So harry tells a player (via the press) he admires him. Then TF and Beard do the tough cop and negotiate hard. By now the player wants to join, and TF/Beard get the better price !! We know Harry doesn't negotiate the price - so your theory is out anyway
Ha classic!! Quite a good time to refer you to your previous post Very very rose tinted perspective on the negotiations process- bizarre in fact. If that was me and I was the owner I would say well seeing as your manager thinks he’s so bloody brilliant then you can pay the £xm we are asking for And if I was the player or their agent I would say well if you think I’mn so good then you can pay the x thousand quid a week I’m asking for
FFS I was referring to an option that they might have; as I said I have no idea, and not claiming to know !! You want to heap **** on QPR - fine go ahead. But I am prepared to give the Manager and board a little respect, and not question everything they do with an ulterior motive. You think Harry is useless - fine go ahead, you block me, and I will block you. Not really interested in what you have to say
Get over yourself mate. Assume you must be Jamie Redknapp, or Rosie’s dog walker. In the first post I pulled you up on your comment that it wasn’t about intracies of transfer comment but the undeniable fact that Redknapp is notorious for speaking to the media about transfers and anything in general really so **** off if you think I heap **** on QPR- offensive to say that I do. I support the board- While I do think that Redknapp is average at best at his job-but think its sensible to question a manager that has got a track record of not caring about the long term interests of the club he is at. Blind faith in him is naiive Your main issue with me is that i question and highlight your naivety. If you had a strong enough point you wouldnt have to resort to hissy fits and making up weird convenient entirely fabricated hypothetical scenarios You slag off Adel any chance you get so by your definition you heap **** on QPR
we can get so much better quality in than spending 10 mill on a championship player for gods sake!!!!!
Great well you definitely wont read this then. I will continue to use this board as intended. Discussing and referencing the points raised by other posters this will include your posts where relevant. For the record I think that your decision to block me is driven out of a combination of arrogance, ignorance and being too thick to participate in reasoned debate. Other than telling you to f** off after you said that you will block me all that I have done is challenge your points I disagreed with. So because of your insecurities you chose to block me. I am secure enough to defend points I raise and explain where I think others have got it wrong. I am also able to recognise when I have got something wrong and not just invent excuse after excuse or stick my head in the sand and block someone
My guess is we are all guessing Harold is a media whore and my guess there is little strategy involved I know we do seem to miss out on players we are linked to Just once I would live it if we signed a player and there was general surprise
I don't think it's inconsistent for Harry to flatter a potential target, say he'd be really valued in QPR's drive in the Prem and imply that there'll be a serious attempt to buy him WITH Tony Fernandes saying to Watford and Deeney, look we rate Deeney and will make a serious bid, but we won't make a bloody inflated one
Hope there's some kind of deal this week, the thought of a last minute panic buy again would be a nightmare
